Test Combination 3: High Voltage, Insulation, Protective Conductor and Leakage Current Testing
Test Combination 3 offers three different high-voltage output stages:
Category 1: Current-limited
Category 2: 500 VA power and 100% duty cycle
On request, test voltages up to 7,500 V AC and 7,000 V DC can be realized. All models are already standardly designed for 5 kV AC and 7 kV DC tests. An insulation test is also included as standard with all models. All models switch fully automatically between the individual output stages. The test object does not need to be reconnected!
Category 1 – Current Limited

Insulation test
- Test voltage: 0–1 kV DC, electronically controlled (also up to 7 kV DC)
- Test duration: 1 to 99 seconds
- Limit values: Rmin, Rmax
- Measuring range: at least up to 1 GΩ
Protective conductor test
- Test current: 5 to 30 A AC, electronically regulated
- Method: resistance, voltage drop according to VDE 0113, conductor cross-section
- Test duration: 1 to 99 seconds
- Limit values: Rmin, Rmax
- Measuring range: up to 300 mΩ
Leakage current test
- Quality: also suitable for medical devices (EN 60601)
- Standards: standard configuration includes 4 standards (of your choice)
- Standard equipment:
- VDE 0700 (EN 60335) Household appliances,
- E 0711 (EN 60598) Luminaires,
- VDE 0805 (EN 60950) Office equipment,
- VDE 0750 (EN 60601) Medical devices.
- Test objects: Single-phase up to 10 A, three-phase unlimited (with additional switching matrix).
- Measurements: Earth leakage current, enclosure leakage current, patient leakage current, and more.
- Method: Fully automatic switching between measurements L1-N/PE, etc.
- Limit values: Imin, Imax
- Power supply: external input
- Additional standards: EN 60990 (rated and unrated currents), and more.
Category 2 – 500 VA power and 100% duty cycle
