CANDY Power testing software

The software package is divided into 4 main areas:
Area 1: Test planning
Area 2: Test sequence
Area 3: Statistics
Area 4: Password control

A useful, context-sensitive help function is just as much a matter of course as an optional multi-language version. The standard statistics function gives you a perfect overview of your measurement data. The result is complete documentation of all work steps. The traceability required by DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 is therefore guaranteed. CANDY guarantees you the safety you need for the product liability law at all times.

Test planning

Individual partial tests such as high-voltage, insulation, protective conductor and leakage current tests, as well as all types of functional tests, can be changed in any order during test planning. In addition, CANDY enables the recording of freely formulated user questions and user notes.

If required, CANDY can be extended with any conceivable functional tests, which are also included in the test planning as a partial test plan. The parameters of the individual safety and function tests are defined in the partial test plans. CANDY automatically configures an overall test plan from the defined partial test plans. The sequence of the tests can be freely selected and subsequently changed. After the initial test, the test plan is locked and the measurement data is assigned according to the test plan. Even complex processes, such as the control of an HV matrix, can be controlled with CANDY. This ensures that test times are shortened and errors are reduced during the test.

Test procedure

CANDY informs the user at all times about the current status of the test and the measurement results. If desired, CANDY can be used to graphically display all measured values in real time. This can be displayed again graphically and numerically at any time. The actual measured values can be displayed either graphically in the XY coordinate field or in numerical form. The good or error result is also clearly presented to the user graphically in color. An optionally available visualization package allows photos to be integrated into the test sequence for clarification. The measurement data is saved in ASCii format in the basic package and can be processed seamlessly with any other program. The data formats SQL, dBASE, Excel and others are available for all areas.

Statistics

At the touch of a button, the good/defect analysis provides a quick overview of quality and defect type. Thanks to the search criteria function implemented in CANDY Power, every result from every test specimen, every order or every series and every article can be localized immediately. Your measurement results can be sent directly by e-mail and require no further processing. The statistics package also enables detailed analysis. This means that all faulty test specimens are immediately recognizable and can then be examined in detail. All faults and weak points of the product in terms of electrical safety and functional tests become clear on demand. CANDY Power’s intelligent data management allows the measurement results to be processed and visualized extremely quickly.

CANDY controls access authorization reliably and securely at all levels. The responsible employee can create additional test personnel without limit and control the rights conveniently and securely. Individual packages can be released or blocked separately. Test planning, the test sequence with the initial test, special test, cold start, calibration test and options modules can be selected, as can the test statistics. The entire program module is protected by a general password.
