As early as the 1960s, erfi pioneered the development of technical workplace systems in the field of electrical engineering by introducing 19″ plug-in units. Today, these devices are capable of performing nearly all measurement tasks. The acto mounting plate system forms the foundation of erfi instruments – for higher performance requirements, the professional basic device system is the ideal solution.
The modular design of the system allows for customized device configurations – complexity, scope, performance specifications, and device types are defined by the user. A wide variety of modules is available, ranging from frequency converters and variable transformers to three-phase and socket outlet modules. AC/DC power supplies, power sources, soldering stations, and resistance or voltage decades can also be implemented.
The device program basic
The basic program is particularly suitable for chemical laboratories and laboratories in which the devices are exposed to high mechanical stress. The front panels are chromated and stove-enamelled, making them particularly resistant to impact, scratches and chemical attack. The controls are raised and therefore also good to use with gloves.

basic – Network modules, safety and switching units
The device group network modules contains various safety and switching units that are tailored to a wide variety of applications and that include personal protection and line protection. The elements serve to protect the operating personnel and to safeguard the workplace – safety is a top priority!
Fixed alternating voltage supply, single-phase
The 19″ device systems provide a wide range of fixed single-phase AC power supplies such as non-floating receptacle modules, floating AC modules, and floating AC power modules.
Fixed alternating voltage supply, single-phase and three-phase
This device group offers combined three-phase and socket modules in both non-isolated and isolated versions, as well as isolated low-voltage rotary modules.
Variable alternating voltage supply
This product group includes non-floating and floating variable transformers with partly integrated rectifiers. Furthermore, motor-controlled floating transformers (AC-Constant) are part of this product range.
basic – multiple fixed voltage sources
For the DC power supply erfi offers different solutions for fixed voltage sources:

basic – Variable three-phase power supply
This segment includes all versions of three-phase variable transformers in non-earth-free and floating versions. Many models already have integrated and connectable three-phase bridge rectifiers.
basic – test field supply
The test field supply modules have been developed especially for repair workstations and test fields. These are motorized three-phase variable transformers, which are controlled by a suitable front panel, which is usually integrated in the laboratory workstation.
The three-phase variable transformers with motor drive provide an alternating voltage of 0-400 V at a maximum current of 25 or 40 A. They are very well suited for the supply of three-phase test objects and consumers with high power consumption.
Power generators
Erfi’s modern family of power generators allows you to inspect and repair of equipment and components that operate at specific frequencies and voltages. The devices are being used in particular in the aerospace, military and marine industries.
Due to the adjustable voltage and the frequencies in the range of 45 Hz to 400 Hz, the device family fulfills almost every requirement. The program includes both single-phase and three-phase models.
Remote-controlled function generators
The device group of the function generators is remotely controllable and includes feedback function, integrated counters and integrated USB 2.0 and RS232 interfaces as standard. This device group is offered in conjunction with the network-capable erfi software highlink Power.
Frequency ranges up to 20 MHz, amplitudes up to 30 Vss and frequency counters up to 100 MHz in conjunction with the remote control ensure optimum measurement data acquisition and system integration. Power amplifiers up to 40 Weff complete the picture of this device series.

The electronic frequency inverters are based on the latest technology. The inverters allow the voltage to be taken at a certain frequency. All inverters are already parameterized at the factory.
