June 2016 – Equipping the vocational school in Elmshorn

Mid-June 2016: Equipping the vocational school in Elmshorn
The vocational school in Elmshorn was equipped with a total of 12 student laboratory workstations. The workstations are equipped with numerous functions and a high degree of flexibility for everyday school life with didactic tasks.

The basic structure of the tables is designed with the elneos connect system and supports a stable 3U table structure made of coated wood. A slotted mat cabinet was mounted next to the table structure, in which various plug-in units can be inserted. Laboratory cord holders were mounted on the left and right of the slotted mat cabinets on the tables. The pedestal placed under each table is used for individual storage and provides space for a PC. Each student workstation also has a small mobile table equipped with castors.

The two-row DIN A4 experiment frames are equipped with a signal light in the upper area that indicates all table statuses. Thanks to a special coupling, the teacher can also see where the emergency stop button has been activated, as the signal light lights up red. In addition, a special module under the desk enables the teacher to individually activate the mains voltage, extra-low voltage and PC sockets.
The additional floor-to-ceiling wall unit is equipped with top cabinets and ladder holders. The interior offers space for slot mat inserts and other equipment.
