erfi equips Volkswagen with new laboratories at the Salzgitter site
A new apprenticeship has been launched at the Volkswagen site in Salzgitter.
This forward-looking profession is called electronics technician for information and systems technology – EIS for short.
The first so-called EIS lab was officially opened on January 9, 2020 and many people came to see the technical and innovative “erfi lab”. Trainers and trainees gave practical demonstrations in the EIS lab to show what the new profession will teach. After just a short time, it was clear: something big is being created here.
The fully equipped laboratory tables can be controlled with the help of the elneos five at each of the twelve trainee workstations or centrally at the trainer’s table via the capacitive multi-touch display. Functions such as multimeters, various adjustable AC/DC voltages, function generators, data loggers and oscilloscopes are available to users at all times.
The highlink Power software package controls the entire laboratory and rounds off the requirements.
Industry 4.0 is lived in this modern laboratory. People communicate digitally with electronics, sensors, robot technology and production systems.
