The Computacenter company near Cologne opted for erfi. Now erfi is currently equipping the globally active company with over 300 workstations. Computacenter supports CIOs and IT departments in large companies and public authorities, thereby increasing the productivity and value of IT for their internal and external customers. The new elneos connect system was used for the workstations. The flexible equipment is supplied for the areas of repair and configuration, i.e. for the commissioning of new computers or servers and for the repair of modules.
Special features
Up to 16 servers or computers can be configured simultaneously on the two-level tables. This work requires maximum flexibility and very short changeover times. For this reason, the total of 330 tables are mainly electro-hydraulic or height-adjustable and special requirements are necessary with regard to cable management. Up to 120 cables can be routed in the vertical and horizontal profile channels, which is why the channel dimensions were adapted to the customer’s individual requirements. Fast and flexible access to the cable supply, e.g. for quick replacement, is therefore a key criterion.
The tables have a load capacity of 600 kg and the shelf itself has a load capacity of 150 kg. The tables are therefore highly stable and, together with the flexibility of the cable management and height adjustment, erfi supports Computacenter with an essential competence module.
