Experience production up close!
After many successful years, we invested around 4.5 million euros in a new production hall and a new customer center at our company headquarters in Freudenstadt in 2017, as well as the same amount in new machinery and infrastructure. A two-storey building was constructed on an area of 2,200 square meters, where our system solutions and devices can be experienced and tested directly on the upper floor. In addition to the new customer center, over four million euros were invested in a completely new laboratory furniture production facility with fully automated and interlinked machines. In our new premises, you will have an insight into our production and plenty of time to get to grips with our products.
The control center software enables tracking and management of all furniture and electronic components during fully automated production. Additionally, robot technology and sorting storage for components allow for the loading of a wide variety of CNC machines.
Furniture production
erfi relies on CIM (computer integrated manufacturing). Integrated production starts with the raw material and continues seamlessly on edge banding machines, cutting saws, drilling and milling centers, dowel drilling machines and presses. erfi uses the open platform tapio for the wood industry. tapio supports the production process in various process sequences with solutions that enable business processes to be handled more efficiently and quickly. The ServiceBoard, for example, sends inquiries directly to the manufacturer and the MachineBoard notifies employees about the current status of the system.
Electronics and test system production
erfi manufactures the complete electronics and all components directly in Freudenstadt using highly qualified personnel. This creates the conditions for efficient assembly and the subsequent quality inspection ensures consistently high quality and safety for your protection. In test system production, modules and components for high-voltage, insulation, protective conductor and leakage current are also prefabricated directly in-house for further processing.
