Milestone in electronics
erfi Ernst Fischer – Award winner in the category: Workplace systems – The times could not have been more unfavorable: Germany lay in ruins and post-war reconstruction was in full swing. Carpenters were also in great demand at this time.
Despite all the adverse circumstances, Ernst Fischer laid the foundation stone for his company in 1955: erfi. Initially industrial workbenches made of wood, demand increased very quickly and with the start of the economic upturn, Ernst Fischer had the idea of integrating electronic components into the work furniture.
Today, erfi produces state-of-the-art laboratory workstations and the corresponding measuring devices in its networked production facility. So the circle is complete: from the beginnings of a carpenter who built wooden workbenches to networked laboratory workstations with integrated functions.
