High voltage meets high-tech: erfi supplies the research and development division of NIO in Munich

Innovative electromobility requires intelligent testing processes \u2013 and this is exactly where our current project comes in:<\/p>\n

erfi Ernst Fischer GmbH + Co. KG<\/strong> has been commissioned by NIO GmbH<\/strong> to supply and integrate a state-of-the-art test bench<\/strong> for the Electric Drive and HV Systems Development Team<\/strong> in Munich.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the project is a customized testing solution for high-voltage components<\/strong>, designed to meet the demanding technical and safety requirements involved in the development of forward-looking e-mobility applications.<\/p>\n

Based on the modular elneos connect workstation series<\/strong> and the latest elneos six device series<\/strong>, the complete system offers a fully integrated solution<\/strong> \u2013 from power supply and measurement technology to safety architecture and testing software.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n

Robust, ESD-compliant laboratory aluminum tables with integrated test hood and modular design
Two powerful, bidirectional power supplies: fully preconfigured 19-inch racks with well-thought-out connection architecture
1200 V \/ \u00b140 A \/ 18 kW
100 V \/ \u00b1360 A \/ 12 kW
Supplemented by the elneos six dual power supply (2 x 0-32 V \/ 5 A) including integrated digital multimeter and power meter as well as a 40 MHz dual-function generator for versatile test applications. And all of this, of course, completely wired to the test object connections in the table setup.<\/p>\n

The plexiglass test hood is gas spring-assisted and equipped with a safety switch:
When opened, the high-voltage and high-current technology is automatically deactivated<\/p>\n

Additional safety components such as an emergency stop system, warning lights according to EN 50191, conductive ESD work mats as well as comprehensive protective and separation devices ensure maximum safety during daily operation.<\/p>\n

A central element of the system is the intelligent test software CANDY Power, which turns the test bench into an Industry 4.0-capable test platform. It enables centralized management of test planning, execution, statistical data and traceability. A single test plan can be used in parallel on multiple systems \u2013 ideal for series development and scaling. With CANDY Power, the test bench becomes an intelligent testing platform.<\/p>\n

For optimal working conditions, the innovative erfi RGB LED light ensures sensor-based, contactless operation and is directly integrated into the Toplight profile without taking up workspace.<\/p>\n

With NIO GmbH, erfi has gained not only an important player in the field of electromobility but also an innovation partner with foresight.<\/p>\n
